Ask Somebody Who Knows

Bought a bag of animal feed at C.T. Garvin's recently and picked up a copy of the 2010 Old Farmer's Almanac.

We place the center of our thoughts on various topics - sports, technology, politics, fashion, religion, food, business.

What about farming and old-fashioned folk wisdom?  Might make us a little more tolerant of each other and less prone to resort to citified extremism, if we did.

Some of us are big picture thinkers, like Kem Pinegar who I saw with her daughter at Lowe's.  Which big picture, though?  Higher education?

Time for this country boy to sit a spell and whittle another wooden somethin'.  This here Internet has gotten too uppity for his tastes lately.  The wind in the trees and the voices of the woodland creatures tell just as good a story as them high-tech jawgobblers.  The creatures sure won't poison the whole woods with funny-sounding chemical names, that's for sure.

See you later, alligator.  After while, crocodile.  I'll make like an amoeba and split.
