Cogs

The move was quiet, like clockwork. The steps they took synchronized. They kept the time although they didn't know what they were doing. The French Foreign Legion. The Mossad. Others trained in soft-shoe dancing. Trust and obey. Decisive action.

Strokes of paint on a canvas painted by the elephant in the middle of the room hiding on a patty of butter.

Plain as the barndoor in the middle of your back.

Painful but required. Gave up their right to legislate. Forced to vote for an unpopular issue. Other forces at work puppeting their moves.

Don't you know you can't stop an ocean wave with a shovel?

The Internet enlightens the masses, too. Such was the sidelobe you missed when you wanted education for everyone. The truth is what it is. It's going to reveal what it does. Can't tell the people they have no choice even if they see it with their own eyes.

They know they'll work for foreign hands. They already buy foreign-made goods without batting an eye. Government agencies prepare war scenarios using computers built by those whom the scenarios target.

Stop selling the plan. Sell the reason for forcing the plan on the people. Honest Abe got you here. Show your knowledge of history. Being the first can also make you last if no one follows your lead.
